Horse recovery
If you have had a break down, nothing worse than your horses being stuck on the side of the road. Especially when they still have a big journey ahead. So we will bring you a float to tow your horses home safely in.
Other roadside rescue services like AA, have horse floats included in the cover.
However, if you have a horse on board they will not touch it.
So who's gonna save your horse so they can save your float? Whether we come just for the horse or for the horse and the horse float, we're here to save the day.

Float Recovery
If your float is the reason you have stopped, Not only will we bring you a float to tow your horses home but we will also repair your float enough to tow it. We will take it to the nearest Workshop, a workshop of your choice or we can bring it to our workshop to be repaired.
You get to carry on like nothing has happened and we deal with the problems for you.
What Would The Process Look Like?
It's stressful enough having something go wrong + go wrong with horses on board.
So lets set your mind at ease for what the process will look like.
The Incident
Your Towing along and you see;
- Smoke/Fire coming from a wheel
-The float suddenly feels heavy,
- the float is now lop sided.
You pull over safely as far off the road as possible.
Your horses are on board and you need help.
So you Call Us.
Our Conversation
You call us Saying,
"Hi, I need help.. Something is wrong with my float."
I will ask these questions:
1. Can you describe to me what happened.
2. What is the make, Model, tare and Gvm of your float (all equipment is rated differently for weights, so helps us carry the right parts)
3. Can you take photo's of anything that appears broken (in instances like Ubolts coming loose, Leaf springs snapping etc it helps us have the right equipment for the job.)
4. How many horses do you have on board, can they travel in either a straight load or angle load?
5. What is your Tow ball size.
6. What is your Location?
Horse Road Side Assistance
We arrive to you towing an empty float.
We swap horse floats and load your horses onto our float attached to your vehicle.
You then have this float all day to your disposal.
If you were on your way to an event or ride with friends you can still go.
You don't have to stop your day just because your float has stopped.
In fact you can hire our float as long as you need pending our availability, while your float is getting repaired.
The Horse FLoat Road Side Assistance
You leave us behind with your broken float and it is now our problem to deal with.
No having to worrying about leaving it behind and your float getting stolen, We will repair it and then tow it away for you.
If we are able to make a temporary repair, we can tow it to our workshop, a work shop of your choice or to a safe location of your choosing. For the Repairs to then be completed in a safer environment.
If towed to ours, You can then collect it when you return our float.
Let your head ache be our headache instead.
The Cost.
If we could do it for free we would but unfortunately everything costs money!
Here is a little break down of what we will charge.
Float to the Rescue
$100 per day on weekdays
$150 per Day on weekends and Public holidays
Materials
Are extra and are variable depending on the issue your float has. Price will be Quoted Prior to the start of works.
Our time in a vehicle
Driving and towing a float to you is $3 per km.
Includes our time while driving, Fuel, Diesel kms, Insurance, vehicle wear and tear + usage.
Doing the work
Anytime spent helping you or your float is $100 per hour/$1.66 per minute.
Any parts and repairs associated with the rescue eg, U-Bolt replacement, New bearing, New leaf spring etc will be quoted and discussed with prior to work commencing.
Please Note: Use of grease, rags, and other Consumables will be added on for a $5-$20 fee depending on quantity used, If used/needed.
