Cancellation Policy
These Online Booking Request Terms & Conditions (Booking Terms) apply to any request by you to book equipment for hire from Holbrook Hire (Holbrook Farriery & Equestrian LTD) and are designed to be read in conjunction with our Sales Consumer Contract Terms and Conditions. By making the booking, you accept and agree to comply with these Booking Terms. The Holbrook Hire website provides an online function where you can review equipment information and specifications and select equipment for hire by submitting a request to hire the selected equipment from a specified Holbrook Hire branch, for a specified date and duration (Booking Request). The display of equipment for hire on the Holbrook Hire website is an indication only of the equipment that may be available for hire. The submission by you of a Booking Request does not constitute an agreement between Holbrook Hire and you for the hire of the selected equipment but Holbrook Hire will endeavour to: a. make available the selected equipment for hire from the branch, on the date and for the duration requested; and b. subject to availability, and you entering into a hire agreement containing our consumer hire terms and conditions (Hire Agreement), honour the price quoted. Holbrook Hire will contact you to advise of the availability of the equipment selected in the event its unavailable, to confirm any delivery or collection requirements if times selected do not suit. Holbrook Hire will be under no obligation to hire any equipment to you, and you will be under no obligation to pay any hire charges, until a Hire Agreement is signed by you on collection/delivery of the equipment. PAYMENT POLICY: Hire charges are to be made at the time of the booking. 24hr cancellation fee of 25% of the hire charges apply. REFUNDABLE BOND: All equipment hires are subject to a refundable bond that is payable at the time of equipment collection/delivery and will be refunded upon the safe and undamaged return of the equipment in accordance with the Hire Agreement. The bond is approximately $100 for short term hires, $300 for long term hires. DRIVERS LICENCE & AGE REQUIREMENTS: A current New Zealand or Overseas Drivers Licence in English must be presented at the time of equipment collection/delivery by all customers.
